No 3 Tavy Cleave

Well, no 3 complete! phew 😌. 1 more to do in the series. This one I found particularly tricky, kept going back to it. Started off by covering the paper with gesso (it adds texture), followed by blocking in with oil paint and finishing off with oil pastel. I’m constantly asking myself what am I trying to achieve? what am I looking for? Does it work? Never truly satisfied 🤔. The picture is for sale. If interested. message me?!
